The London Mint Office is one of the leading distributors of collector coins in the UK.

They have an extensive range of coins on offer ranging from modern day commemoratives (for which you pay only the face value of the coin) through to coins from the ancient world. When we last visited their site it was a fascinating tour as they had historical coins available inclduing reasonably priced genuine antiques such as coins from ancient Greece and from the Britain of King Richard the Lionheart and Queen Boudica.

If you have a man who is interested in history, then this is very well worth a visit.
